Do You Think You're The Only One Fired?
Did you see what happened to the bartender from Cheers, the bar in Boston made famous by the TV show (the bar even changed its name to match the TV show)?
He's been fired.
A sign of the time. Nothing personal, "It's Only Business."
Everybody Knows His Names... and now every body knows he's been fired.
But there's a lesson there: No, not the lesson that the economy sucks and he was a victim of his employer.
The lesson is that since everyone knows his name and he's in the press up in Boston (and now YOU are reading about him), his chances are magnified that he will get another job.
Assuming he wants one.
What do they same about being burned - don't we learn from things like that? Doesn't our brain get an imprint when going through something like that? Won't you always remember that time (or times) you were fired - that horrible, sick-to-your-stomach feeling of helplessness and lack of any power or respect?
Oh, sure - you can read the article about him here.
But don't lose the lesson in this: take control. When you ask Where Did The Dream Go - know that YOU hold the Dream in your own hands and YOU can make decisions for yourself.
Maybe this short movie will speak directly to you... Click Here! Maybe it will give you support. Maybe this is the day that you pick yourself up and make things happen.
And then like our Cheers bartender, get out and tell the world: nothing to hide. Let people know what you're up to and you'll be surprised how many want to help.
